marketing services

Lately, there have been more and more collaborations, or "teams" formed with building a website. I've been having alot of fun, and I have to say, the websites coming out are even stronger because they have strategy, and a whole bunch of new ideas that one person couldn't come with on their own.

I have worked with all of these lovely people, and so want to tell you about the wonderful things they offer. If you are interested in their services, you can contact me, or feel free to contact them directly to find out more.

Matt SicotteOne of my favourite clients recommended I meet with Matt. And I'm so happy that I did because he offers some wonderful things that I think many of my clients will like:

  • Mobile Sites - I am not a cell-phone person, and so my skillset doesn't lie there. Not all websites look good or work well on cell phones. So happy to find Matt, as he can make your website phone-friendly and also esthetically pleasing and functional for SmartPhones. It makes sense, to have your site available in multiple mediums. He can also help with QR Codes, if you want to provide these to your customers
  • Mobile Marketing - This is a whole new world to explore. Matt can help!
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization) - This is the stuff (keywords, page titles & descriptions) that helps the search engines like Google find you and rank you. My skills are basic, but Matt can fine-tune it to make your website more popular, focussed, and easy to find.

tad hargrave

Tad HargraveMany of you already know of Tad Hargrave, as his network is huge and he has been helping those in the eco and wholistic fields market themselves for a while now. Tad does offer consults, but he's so very busy with so many people wanting his time, that I would recommend checking out these things:

  • His Workshops - Tad travels across Canada  giving his workshops. He's very good at teaching marketing to non-marketers and those who fear marketing. If you are wanting some guidance and want to be self-empowered with your own marketing, I recommend you take his workshops.
  • Tad's Website - Not only does he have a very cool business name - Marketing for Hippies - but his website is full of wonderful resources. Check out his blog (he's an excellent writer) and he has a whole bunch of awesome Youtube Videos you'll want to watch.
  • His E-Book - Want a way to attract subscribers to your mailing list? Free gifts is a great way. Tad has this awesome e-book on how to create this. Buy it here.
  • Community Building - I'm not sure if Tad mentions this on his website, but I see that he's very good at bringing people together and building networks. For example, he's co-founder of E-SAGE, and on his personal Facebook page, he has about 5000 friends. Keep this in mind while you browse his stuff.

Sandbox MediaI have worked with two of the lovely fellows at this company (Brian and Trevor), and they have been amazing to work with. Around them, I feel like I have really stepped up my game as a designer. They can help with:

  • SEO - Search Engine Optimization - This is the stuff (keywords, page titles & descriptions) that helps the search engines like Google find you and rank you. My skills are basic, but they fine-tune it, research it, work with it as an evolving entity, to make your website more popular, focussed, and easy to find.
  • Web Marketing Strategy - Want to advertise on the web? Increase it's popularity? They can help.
  • Social Media Implementation & Strategy - With one of my clients, they gave a plan and strategy with using Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Blogs, etc. effectively. They know some amazing softwares that work with Facebook, and they are can actually make the blog, facebook, etc. posts to make the client's life a whole lot easier . Download their Facebook Marketing Handbook.

harmony by design, liz garratt

Liz GarrattI have know Liz Garratt for several years, and go to her myself for my own business. She calls what she does "Inspired Business Adventures". Liz is trained in traditional business planning, but found there was a much deeper approach to take in our own businesses. All of my clients already live very consciously, so it makes sense to have someone like Liz to help from this approach to your businesses. Liz offers:

  • Business Circles - Fairly regularly, Liz offers Inspired Business Circles. Most are for an afternoon, and they have an intention (e.g. pricing). I recommend these to those of you who embrace deep work (e.g. in the circles there is sharing, and this helps you get clear on what your really want, what your heart is saying) and who already acknowledge that business can be emotional in all ways, because it's an extention of ourselves
  • Inspired Business Planning - Contact Liz for details. She offers more extensive workshops for those who want to get focussed in what they want for their businesses. I have personally taken this course, and found it helped me get clear, fine-tune my business, so that it just flows now.
  • Business Coaching - In my own words, it feels like Liz offers "Business Counselling". I find it's just so nice to book a couple hours with Liz every now and then, as almost a business tune-up. I share my new ideas, my challenges, and somehow just talking it out feels so good. Her gift is listening, and then she gives the most wonderful feedback that affirms and helps you get clear. She does coaching for individuals, as well as groups and organizations.
